Ecclesiastic embroidered items: a good decorative panel with couched gold thread embroidery and coloured silks, gold fringing, backed in red, approx. 53.5 cm by 54.5 cm including the fringes; together with a fragment of 18th century woven silk incorporating metal threads, featuring a pelican landing on the nest to feed the fledglings from his own blood, symbolic of Christ sacrificing himself for Man, approx. 54 cm by 25cm; a silk and velvet runner worked with metal threads; and an unused length of gold and red woven ribbon, with pattern repeat of a cross, in two lengths each approx. 3.22 metres by 75 cm plus a fragment of approx. 40cm (5) (Shipping category D)

Wear/darns to the silk of the first item, particularly along the top edge and some darns along the central fold line, embroidery clear and bright. Light stains to one small area of item 2. Item three has some wear to the outer braid border, and some staining seen from the back; ribbon in unused order.
