Two 19thc. Biedermeier maiden crowns (traditional German costume dating around 1820’s), an accessory worn exclusively by singe girls, the first richly embroidered with a panel of small white beads, gold metal threads, insertions of glass stones, patterned lining, rigid form; the second example in gold fabric overlaid with braid, and applied with white beads and glass or paste stones, faux pearls, having four motifs with protruding flowers, and the addition of a hat pin with matching flower with which to secure the crown, lined in a woven floral fabric (3) (Shipping category C)
