A Chinese Mandarin fan of uncommon medium size, the monture wood, lacquered in black, painted in gold, the gorge and guards featuring robed figures with trees and foliage, the double paper leaf vibrantly painted, applied with silk robes and painted ivory faces, the recto featuring the emperor in yellow robe, the verso with another figure in similar robe, perhaps his wife, contained in a fitted fan box covered in blue patterned paper, with glass lid and calligraphy underneath, guard approx. need to add measurement, ivory exemption certificate no RAUKNRBA (Shipping category C)
