Ann Collier: a more traditional lace design by Ann, worked in Bedfordshire Maltese bobbin lace, featuring two birds, peacocks with elaborate tails, in relief, with gold crowned heads, beads for eyes, pearl beads in a band above, gold threads interwoven in the very top section of the leaf, mounted on mother of pearl, burgau, needle point initials on verso, guard approx. 28 cm, contained in a hand-made box covered in black fabric, the lid worked with woven silk ribbons (1+box (Shipping category C)
