A SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND CLUSTER RING c1974 in 18ct gold and white gold, claw set to the centre with an oval faceted sapphire within a surround of brilliant cut diamonds, together with Gemological Report no 00688 for the sapphire from R M Weare & Co Ltd indicating natural, no neat treatment, finger size M, approximate weight of sapphire 3.01ct, total approximate diamonds 1.00ct, approximate weight 5g
Sapphire: Small chips to the facet edges. Some of which are visible at the web images. Some very light scratches to the table facet, not visible in the web images but visible with a 10x lens. RM Weare & So has certificated this stone with a card report. This was commissioned on behalf of Morphets vendor, it will transfer with a successful bid for this lot, but will not be published on RM Weare's website.
Diamonds: Appear original, complete, one with a very very small abrasion to a table facet edge. Not visible on the web images and only visible with a 10x lens.
Claws: All fit for purpose, they do appear to have been retipped.
Under bezel: Fit for purpose.
Shank and shoulders: Fit for purpose. The shank has been sized up previously.
Overall in good condition.
