A WHITE MARBLE GARDEN JAPANESE LANTERN with carved titled pagoda hood, the hexagonal body with quatrefoil cut outs to each panel, on a ring turned column, circular spreading foot and square plinth base, 105cm high x 50cm diameter
The end of each ridge tile has been chipped. The roof and interior are discoloured. The plinth is also discoloured. We don't think it is a conglomerate but it has very little grey veining for it to be Carrara. The white glistens with tiny sparkles. Perhaps this is a stone, sorry but we are just not sure.
