Ann Collier: The Dancers, a bone fan with pierced monture, the lace leaf with open borders of beaded Beds Maltese top and bottom, a foliate design to the centre, with a heart outlined in coloured thread, both sides of which show dancers holding hands, perhaps in a reel, a young man to the centre of two maidens dressed in their finery, and above each dancer the cream bobbin lace is worked into a heart, additional detail to the costumes with beading, the girls have hairstyles worked from a Bedfordshire Maltese wheatear, needle lace initials to the verso, guard approx. 30 cm (Shipping category C)
