Advertising fans: A good Art Deco printed paper fan in fontange form, for the Savoy Hotel, London, signed Brunelleschi, (1879 – 1949) printed by Maquet Gr, Paris, featuring a lone musician by moonlight around Venice, overall height approx. 24.5 cm; together with a second fontange fan advertising the Criterion Restaurant (probably Piccadilly London, known as a jazz age club in the 1920’s) the recto showing dancers in a nightclub, a small band of black musicians, and potted palms, overall height approx. 27 cm (2) (Shipping category D)
The first fan is in very good condition. The second has had more use and is a little crumpled.
