EUROPEAN SCHOOL MID 19TH CENTURY, The Virgin Mary, head and shoulder portrait, oil on canvas later laid onto card, unsigned, oval, 13cm x 10cm
The canvas is laid down onto card. Light craquelure. Old paint flake loss to the lower right hand side. Two or three minute spots of white on the canvas.
Loose frame, just needs re-sealing at the back.
The canvas looks as if it would brighten quite a bit if cleaned.
