AN ANTIQUE CHINESE EMBROIDERED SILK JACKET, Ru, closure to the right, with 5 metal bobble buttons, the black silk applied with large panels of cream damask silk, having flowers woven in the design, embroidered in pastels with flowers, and edged with a different silk band with smaller flowers, wide sleeves, also with this narrower band of flowers, lined in blue
At the neck, a band of black lace, non-original, has been added. There are light stains in several places on the cream damask silk. The narrow bands of embroidery are worn and the pattern can no longer be seen in some places. There are some dusty marks on the black silk particularly near the hem at the back
