Three stylish Edwardian hats, large, the first in cream cotton, the brim wired, pleated and frilled, the crown elevated, gathered into the centre and lined in net; together with a brown velvet and cream gauze hat with wide brim, trimmed with brown chenille, a black ribbon and a black feather, the crown loosely gathered, lined in fine black silk, and a cream straw hat most likely for a young woman, the brim trimmed with cream silk, the interior with similar with the addition of machine lace ruffles, silk lining, bearing a paper label, most probably French, No 15, elastic and ribbon added as ties (3) (Shipping category E)
All in used condition, the first hat is sound but has dark rust marks in places. The velvet is worn on the second hat, and bot that and the straw hat have damaged linings.
