Two mid-19th century rustic gentlemen’s shirts, both heavy linen, from a farming family, with dropped shoulders, both with small, finer collars, front buttoning with the styles slightly different, each with the different owner’s initials stitched in red; together with a girls chemise or shift with narrow straps, the bodice with bobbin lace insertions and cream embroidery and initials, probably 1920’s (3) (Shipping category C)
The chemise is unused, with some light storage marks. One shirt has wear to the cuffs
