A MOORCROFT VASE of baluster form, painted and tube lined in the Anemone pattern in pinks and purples on a green ground, painted initials and impressed marks to base, 32cm high
In the inner curve of the foot rim there is approx 0.20cm of glaze loss on the crazing; running from this is a line, approximately 4cm up into the swell of the lower body. This can be felt when running a finger nail over it but not a finger. This could be a scratch (hence the spot of glaze loss) or heavy crazing. I cannot see anything corresponding when looking internally with a light so I do not think it is a crack. No other condition issues or restoration.
