A fine pair of French mid-19th century slippers, black glacé kid, edged with blue braid, square toes, the sole embossed with a crown and Mayer à Paris, ( no label or notations inside), the vamp applied with a vibrant blue silk, tambour embroidery, and an elaborate silk flower and small silver metal buckle, sole approx. 26 cm long and 6 cm wide. (Shipping category C)

In good used condition, slightly scuffed at each side midway where the foot has needed a wider sole, and slightly crumpled at the heel
