Ottoman and/or Greek 19th century textiles: a cream towel with borders of embroidered birds, the cotton ground woven with diamonds, these being embroidered in silk and metal threads to complement the borders, approx. 121 cm by 43 cm excluding fringing; a heavier cotton towel with similar diamonds to the ground, the bordered embroidered in silk with pomegranates and leaves, approx. 135 cm by 48 cm; a rectangular panel in acid green silk, with applied fringed braid, embroidered in vibrant silks with a variety of flowerheads and motifs, backed in red cotton printed in black and yellow, approx. 70 cm by 55 cm, and a heavier woolen mat, hand worked with wool, with a variety of motifs to include birds and beasts (4) (Shipping category D)

In good condition with occasional foxing. The green silk item has some yellow shading, not colour run.
