CHARLES NOKE FOR ROYAL DOULTON, a figure Henry Irving as Cardinal Wolsey, HN33, printed marks to base, faint impressed signature to base, 34cm high. (The figure is at fault.) There is a long open crack running vertically from his shoulder down the back in the folds of his gown into the base and further cracks running from here around the lower part of the figure, one crack runs through the end of the cloak as it sits on the black base.
